Hi! I'm the mom behind Suburban Twin Mom.

I'm a working mom raising identical twin boys, balancing a full-time career, and doing my best to keep our household running. Some days I even succeed.

​

I have a doctorate in education, which sounds impressive until you realize I still regularly lose negotiations with two five-year-olds over things like putting on shoes or getting dressed.

​

My boys are smart, funny, stubborn, and endlessly entertaining. I've spent years saving stories about the ridiculous things they say and do, partly because I want to remember them and partly because some of this stuff is just too funny not to share.

​

Eventually, I decided to turn those stories into something more. And Suburban Twin Mom was born.

More Than Just Twin Stories

I love cooking, especially meals that bring everyone together without requiring every pot and pan in the kitchen. You'll find recipes we actually make at home, along with shortcuts and little tricks I've picked up along the way.

​

We also love camping and family adventures, although traveling with twins occasionally makes me question our decision-making skills.

​

And then there are the coloring books. What started as a collection of funny parenting moments has turned into a creative project of its own. Because apparently I needed another hobby.

Why Suburban Twin Mom?

Because parenting is funny. Not every minute, obviously. Sometimes it's exhausting, frustrating, and incredibly messy.

​

But then one of my boys says something completely ridiculous, and suddenly I have another story worth saving.

​

I don't claim to have parenting figured out. I'm just sharing our adventures, some good food, and the things that make me laugh along the way.
